Vembu BDR Suite : A comprehensive backup and DR solution for your VMware environment

Vembu is a software product and cloud services company that has a portfolio of products which provides customers with backup and DR capabilities for their workloads. Vembu’s flagship offering is the BDR suite which is a comprehensive backup, disaster recovery and replication software that works across the physical and virtual environments. It supports different virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere, Hyper-V and KVM. One of the key differentiators of this tool is that it supports V2V across multiple hypervisors and P2V from physical desktop to virtualization platform along with backup and recovery. It also provides instant recovery of a backed up VM in multiple formats (VHD,VHDX, VMDK, Flat-VMDK or RAW).

Vembu BDR Suite provides flexible deployment options such as offsite, cloud, on-premises and hybrid cloud. The tool comes with a UI that has a complete set of features built into it. The single pane makes it easier manage, backup and protect heterogeneous environments. The software can be installed on a windows platform and used to backup and restore remote environments. It takes less than 30 mins to set up the product and the UI has categories of services which makes it easier to configure them for first use.

The BDR Suite consists of the following components:
